Street Children Shraddha Project


In this academic year five students have passed S.S.C exam. We had appointed tuition teacher for their guidance. Specially for science, mathematics and English.

Main achievement of our students as follows.
We gave vocational training of lift mechanic to master Rajesh Jaiswal our ex student three years ago. After completing training he recently has got job in ‘OTIS’ company he earns Rs. 10,000/- per month and he is very happy.

Srushti Mitra Award prize in the category environment project (Government of Maharashtra) has been awarded to Master Sahil Gamre. For project “Study on loss of Heat Energy in Domestic uses of Gas and utilization of Waste Heat” Sahil got a cheaque Rs. 1000/- and certificate by IAS Officer Smt. Valsa Nair Singh (Secretary, Environment Department Government Maharashtra).

A drawing competition was held on 26th Jan. 9:00 am. at Hanging Garden Mumbai by Innerwheel Club of Bombay Bay View. Total numbers of children were 300. Under the guidance of our social worker Mr. Shinde 18 students of the centre participated in the competitions. Our two children got 2nd and 3rd prize.

These both students got full fee for private drawing class from Innerwheel Club of Bombay Bay-View.

We are happy to inform that about 10 ex students of shraddha centre earn more than Rs. 10,000/- by working in a well known company and other places.

On 24th Jan 2013.  100 children were examined for Hemoglobin last follow up check up.
This was sponsored by Innerwheel club of Bombay Bay View. According to the medical report 85% of them found normal range of Hemoglobin.

On 5th Sept. Eye and Dental Check-up was held for our student and BMC Students. Total 159 Children were checked up. This camp was sponsored by Rotary Innerwheel club of Bombay Bay-View.

Innerwheel Club of Bombay Bay-View arranged grand exhibition at World Trade Centre on 12th Oct 2013. They sponsored one stall to our Shraddha Centre. We displayed glass diyas, decorative envelops, paper bags, made by children. We also kept other things. We got good response and recognition from public. Children and staff got good exposure and confidence.
